Suffolk Public Schools Middle School Sports
Seventh and Eighth grade students may participate in the following sports during the 2021-2022 school year.
Basketball
November 15 - December 13, 2021
Volleyball
January 18 - February 7, 2022
Soccer
November 15 - December 15, 2021
Field Hockey
March 1 - March 23, 2022
Football
March 10 - May 7, 2022
1. MS Sports Startup- 11/15/21 for practice/season (basketball). Seasons for these sports will be 11/22-12/13.
2. Tryouts- A completed physical form AND proof of vaccination/negative test result are REQUIRED for participation in tryouts/practices/games.
3. Testing- SPS will have weekly testing for students who are not vaccinated. Testing will be provided by SPS at FGMS one day a week. More information on this to follow very soon.
4. Tickets and Concessions- Basketball, Volleyball, and Football will be ticketed events for MS sports. $2.00 admission- cash only, as we will not have a method to accept electronic payments. Masks will be worn by ALL guests, officials, ticket takers, etc.
