We ask that parents and students use the following guidelines to implement social distancing which is to deliberately increase the physical space between people to avoid spreading illness. Staying at least six feet away from other people lessens your chances of catching COVID-19:

  • The building will have a designated entrance and exit for students and parents. Please enter and exit only through these designated areas.
  • Students will receive a trash bag that they will put items in from their locker. Students will just take all items from their locker and put them in the trash bag to take home. They can go through these items at home to reduce time in the building.
  • Student medications that are housed in the nurse’s office can be picked up after emptying the lockers.
  • There should be no congregating of students and adults during this process.
  • Please implement social distancing when waiting to get access to the locker or medication pickup at the nurse’s station.
  • Students will not be turning in their musical instruments as they will need them for their virtual classes.
  • Students that participated in middle school sports should bring in their uniforms in a plastic bag with their name, grade, and sport on it.
  • Students should only come to clean out their locker with their parent or guardian only.
  • Parents should not bring any other siblings except Forest Glen Middle School students.
  • If any student or parents has any symptoms of illness, please do not come into the building.
  • Students must know their locker number and combination to access their locker.
